The Compendium of Academic Standards was developed by McREL in the late 1990’s and maintained through the early 2010’s. Funding for the project has since ended, and the site is no longer actively updated. Due to the age of the Compendium materials (which have not been updated since 2016) and current technical issues with the underlying database and servers, McREL will be retiring the Compendium and taking it offline on May 15, 2024.
