Standard 5.
Understands the characteristics and merits of one's own artwork and the artwork of others
Level Pre-K (Grade Pre-K)
1.
Discusses and evaluates the intentions and meanings of his or her own artwork and the work of others
Level II (Grade K-4)
1.
Knows various purposes for creating works of visual art
2.
Knows how peoples experiences (e.g., cultural background, human needs) can influence the development of specific artworks

Level III (Grade 5-8)
